How should women prevent cervical warts

How should women prevent cervical warts

Once cervical warts occur, it will not only affect the patient's health, but also spread the disease to people around them. If you don't take good preventive care in your daily life, it is easy to form a vicious cycle. Here, I will introduce to you how women should prevent cervical warts.

1. Resolutely put an end to sexual promiscuity: 60% of patients with cervical warts are infected through sexual contact. One family member is infected from society and infects the spouse through sexual life, and may also be transmitted to other family members through close contact, which not only brings physical pain, but also causes family discord and mental pressure. Therefore, improving sexual morality and not having extramarital sex are important aspects of preventing the occurrence of cervical warts.

2. Prevent contact transmission: Do not use other people's underwear, swimsuits and bathtubs; do not wash in the basin in public baths, it is recommended to shower, and do not sit directly on the bathtub seat after bathing; try to use squat toilets in public toilets; wash hands with soap before going to the toilet; do not swim in swimming pools with high density and poor disinfection.

3. Pay attention to personal hygiene: wash the vulva and change underwear every day, and wash your underwear separately. Even among family members, each person should have his own basin and towel.

4. After the spouse is ill, sexual intercourse should be prohibited. If the spouse has only received physical therapy, although the visible cervical warts on the vulva have disappeared, the patient still carries human papillomavirus and should also receive comprehensive treatment with oral and external wash medicines, and be re-examined after treatment. If sexual intercourse occurs during this period, condoms can be used for protection.

5. Pregnant women with cervical condylomata may choose cesarean section to avoid infection of the fetus during delivery. Do not bathe in the same basin with the baby after delivery.
