What is the cause of left ovarian cyst and what are the obvious symptoms

What is the cause of left ovarian cyst? What are the obvious symptoms?

The causes of left ovarian cysts are:

1. Environmental factors: The incidence of ovarian cancer is high in industrially developed countries and upper-class women, which may be related to high cholesterol in the diet. In addition, ionizing radiation, asbestos, and talcum powder can affect oocytes and increase the chance of inducing ovarian tumors. Smoking and vitamin A, C, and E deficiency may also be related to the onset of the disease.

2. Family genetic reasons: About 20-25% of ovarian tumor patients have tumor patients among their immediate relatives.

3. Endocrine causes: Ovarian tumors mostly occur in nulliparous or infertile women. Pregnancy seems to have an antagonistic effect on ovarian tumors. It is believed that the repeated damage to the ovarian surface epithelial cells caused by daily ovulation is related to the occurrence of ovarian tumors.

Left ovarian cyst has the following symptoms: Lower abdominal discomfort: This is the initial symptom before the patient touches the lower abdominal mass. Due to the weight of the tumor itself and the influence of intestinal peristalsis and body position changes, the tumor moves in the pelvic cavity, involving its pedicle and pelvic funnel ligament, causing the patient to have a feeling of fullness and falling in the lower abdomen or iliac fossa.

Menstrual disorders: Generally, ovarian or even bilateral ovarian cysts do not cause menstrual disorders because they do not destroy all normal ovarian tissues. Some uterine bleeding is not endocrine, but is caused by ovarian tumors that change the pelvic blood vessel distribution, causing endometrial congestion; or it is caused by direct metastasis of ovarian malignant tumors to the endometrium. Menstrual disorders caused by endocrine tumors are often combined with other secretory influences.
