What are the auxiliary treatments for cervical warts?

What are the auxiliary treatment methods for cervical warts? If you find yourself with this symptom, you must not judge by yourself, but go to a professional hospital for treatment, because this disease has similar symptoms to pseudocervical warts. If you make a mistake in judgment, it will be detrimental to the condition. For women, how to treat cervical warts?

1. Cryotherapy

Using liquid nitrogen at -196℃, the freezing method is used to treat cervical condyloma, which promotes the necrosis and shedding of wart tissue. This method is suitable for condyloma with a small number and small area. One to two treatments are feasible, with an interval of one week.

2. Laser treatment

Usually, CO2 laser is used to burn cervical warts. This treatment is most suitable for penile or perianal warts. Single or a small number of multiple warts can be treated once, while multiple or large warts can be treated 2 to 3 times, usually with an interval of one week.

3. Electrocautery

High-frequency electroacupuncture or electrosurgery is used to remove condyloma acuminatum. This treatment is suitable for condyloma acuminatum with a small number and small area. The principle is to use a safe and moderate electric current to remove the diseased tissue, and then use spark discharge to burn off the remaining lesions. During the operation, care should be taken not to damage other normal tissues.

4. Microwave therapy

Microwave surgery is used for treatment. Under lidocaine local anesthesia, the tip of the rod-shaped radiation probe is inserted into the cervical condyloma directly to the base of the wart. When the wart becomes smaller, darker, and changes from soft to hard, the thermal radiation coagulation is complete and the probe can be withdrawn. The coagulated lesion can be removed with tweezers. To prevent recurrence, the remaining base can be coagulated again.

5. Drug therapy

Currently, antiviral drugs are mainly macrocyclic triterpenes, and their main treatment principle is that macrocyclic triterpenes can kill HPV viruses hidden in the skin and mucous membranes. The course of treatment of this type of drug is long, and the warts fall off slowly, but the recurrence rate is very low.

6. Traditional Chinese Medicine Treatment

Treatment 1: External wash recipe for condyloma: 30g of Polygonum cuspidatum, 30g of Gentiana scabra, 30g of Rhubarb, 20g of Red Peony Root, 30g of Pomegranate Peel, 20g of Alum, 30g of Curcuma Atractylodes, 30g of Lithospermum officinale. Boil in water into 2000ml and scrub the warts with slightly wet solution for 15-20 minutes, twice a day.

Treatment 2: Crystal paste, lime water, and glutinous rice in appropriate amounts. Soak the glutinous rice in lime water for 24-36 hours, mash the glutinous rice into a paste for later use, and apply the paste directly to the wart once a day until the wart falls off.

After local anesthesia, place the moxa cone on the wart, light it and let it burn out. Depending on the size of the wart, 1-3 moxa cones are used each time, once a day, until the wart falls off.
