Cervical precancerous lesions refer to lesions that occur in the cervix before cancer occurs, which will lead to a pathological process of cancer. This cancerous process lasts for a relatively long time. The occurrence and development of cervical cancer has a gradual evolution process, which can take from several years to decades. It is generally believed that this evolution process goes through several stages: mild, moderate and severe intraepithelial neoplasia, early invasive cancer, and invasive cancer. Biological treatment of cervical precancerous lesions is more effective: biological treatment of cervical precancerous lesions is a type of treatment for cervical precancerous lesions that uses cell biology and molecular biology to regulate the body's immune system or tumor growth, thereby inhibiting tumor growth or destroying it. It has been regarded as the fourth treatment for cervical precancerous lesions after surgery, radiotherapy, and chemotherapy. Surgical treatment of cervical precancerous lesions is more effective: extensive hysterectomy and pelvic lymph node elimination are used. The scope of removal of cervical precancerous lesions includes the entire uterus, bilateral adnexa, upper vagina and paravaginal tissues, and pelvic lymph nodes (paracervical, obturator, internal iliac, external iliac, and lower common iliac lymph nodes). The operation requires safety, strict control of indications, and prevention of complications. Traditional Chinese medicine is effective in treating cervical precancerous lesions: Traditional Chinese medicine has the characteristics of strong overall concept, less toxic side effects, and strengthening the body and eliminating evil, and has achieved ideal results in the treatment of cervical precancerous lesions, especially in the middle and late stages of cervical precancerous lesions. It can effectively inhibit and kill malignant tumor cells, and prevent the metastasis of cancer cells while treating the primary lesions. Radiotherapy for cervical precancerous lesions is relatively effective: Radiotherapy for cervical precancerous lesions is a common method for the treatment of cervical precancerous lesions, and can be used for cervical precancerous lesions of all stages. The radiation range mainly includes the cervix and the affected vagina, uterine body, paracervical tissue and pelvic lymph nodes. There are two main methods of irradiation: internal irradiation and external irradiation. Most clinical methods use a combination of internal and external irradiation. The internal radiation source uses intracavitary radium (Ra) or 137 cesium, which is mainly aimed at the primary lesion of the cervix. The external radiation source uses 60 drills, which is mainly aimed at metastatic lesions outside the primary lesion, mainly including the pelvic lymph node drainage area. The dose is generally 60Gy. At present, it is advocated to perform internal irradiation first for early cervical precancerous lesions. For advanced cancer, especially those with huge local tumors, active bleeding, or concomitant infection, it is advisable to perform external irradiation first. |
