What are the preventive measures for pelvic effusion?

Pelvic effusion is a manifestation rather than a disease. To be precise, it is a description of the fluid in the pelvic cavity by imaging. It can be divided into physiological pelvic effusion and pathological pelvic effusion. Pathological pelvic effusion can occur after pelvic effusion, adnexitis or endometriosis, and is the main imaging feature of pelvic effusion. So, do you know the preventive measures for pelvic effusion?

Measures to prevent pelvic effusion:

1. Women should take baths and change clothes frequently, keep the perineum dry and clean, and avoid sitting baths. It is best to use showers to avoid cross-infection of germs.

2. Remind female friends that if they are in the menstrual cycle, after abortion, or after gynecological surgery such as insertion or removal of an IUD and there is vaginal bleeding, they must be careful not to have sex/life during this period to prevent bacterial invasion and cause pelvic effusion.

3. Pay attention to observe whether the leucorrhea is normal on a daily basis. If you find that there is too much leucorrhea, the leucorrhea is yellow and thick, or the leucorrhea is accompanied by a foul odor, you must be alert to the possibility of pelvic effusion and go to the hospital for relevant examinations and treatment in time.

4. For couples who do not want children, they should take contraceptive measures. If they accidentally get pregnant or have a miscarriage, they must rest and keep warm. They should not eat cold or spicy foods to reduce the chance of pelvic effusion after miscarriage.
