Causes of chocolate cysts

Causes of chocolate cysts

As a high-incidence disease, chocolate cyst disease should be taken seriously by people. Chocolate cyst disease has seriously threatened health. In the face of chocolate cyst disease, we must treat it correctly, but people should not ignore the prevention of chocolate cysts. If it is not prevented in time, chocolate cyst complications are likely to occur. What are the causes of chocolate cysts?

According to the survey, the female infertility rate caused by chocolate cysts is increasing year by year. Chocolate cysts are "lumps" but not "tumors". They are a type of endometriosis. They are caused by the growth of ectopic endometrium in the pelvic cavity. This endometrium also has menstrual-like bleeding every month. These bleedings accumulate in the pelvic cavity and become cysts. The cysts are often bilateral and the contents are menstrual blood. Ultrasound examination shows that the blood is concentrated into a dark brown, viscous paste, which looks like chocolate, so it is called "chocolate cyst".

The cause of chocolate cysts is still uncertain, but the most widely recognized cause is retrograde menstruation. In recent years, the incidence of chocolate cysts has increased year by year. In addition to women's work pressure and overwork, many chocolate cyst patients have a history of miscarriage. Therefore, experts hereby call on women to be cautious about abortion.

1. Cesarean section: During cesarean section, the uterine incision is improperly sutured, and the endometrium remains in the pelvic cavity and implants on the ovaries, eventually leading to the formation of ovarian chocolate cysts.

2. Artificial abortion: During the operation, the pressure between the uterine cavity, pelvic cavity and abdominal cavity is unbalanced, and the operation is improper, so the endometrial tissue is sucked into the pelvic cavity and abdominal cavity.

3. Retrograde menstruation: The cervix and vagina are closed and adhered, and the endometrial tissue prevents menstrual blood from being discharged smoothly. Therefore, it flows back through the fallopian tubes to the pelvic and abdominal cavities, and finally implants on the ovaries.

The above is the relevant knowledge we have introduced. We must provide regular and thorough treatment to patients, and female friends must pay attention to it to avoid causing more serious harm.
