What are the nursing measures for ectopic pregnancy

For patients with ectopic pregnancy and severe hemorrhage and shock, first open the vein, inhale oxygen, transfuse blood and infuse fluids to fight shock, and actively prepare for surgery. Pay attention to monitoring vital signs after surgery. If conditions permit, give ECG monitoring and continue oxygen inhalation to help patients recover as soon as possible. So what are the nursing measures for ectopic pregnancy?

1. Shock supine position is one of the nursing methods for ectopic pregnancy. Patients with ectopic pregnancy need to take the head-high and foot-high position (elevated 15° each) to increase the amount of blood returning to the heart in the lower limbs and the blood supply to important organs.

2. Patients with ectopic pregnancy need to keep their airways open, inhale oxygen, and improve their hypoxia. This is also something that needs to be paid attention to in the care of ectopic pregnancy.

3. Rapidly expand the volume, quickly establish two intravenous accesses, ensure venous patency, and administer appropriate medications according to the condition of the ectopic pregnancy.

4. Closely observe the vital signs of patients with ectopic pregnancy. Blood pressure is an indicator of hemorrhagic shock, and raising blood pressure is the key to winning the opportunity for surgical rescue. At the same time, the care of ectopic pregnancy requires close observation of changes in blood oxygen saturation, pulse, consciousness, etc.

5. DIC treatment: actively observe whether there is bleeding tendency, timely detection and timely treatment. The main principles of treatment are to remove the cause of ectopic pregnancy, improve microcirculation, anticoagulant thrombolysis, antifibrinolysis, hemostasis and liver protection.
