Abnormal leucorrhea refers to abnormal changes in the color, quality, and quantity of leucorrhea, such as the appearance of tofu-like leucorrhea and thick leucorrhea. Under normal circumstances, the vagina and vulva often have a small amount of secretions to keep them moist, which is called leucorrhea; it is composed of vaginal mucosal exudates, cervical glands, and endometrial secretions, and contains vaginal epithelial exfoliated cells and white blood cells. Abnormal leucorrhea is one of the common gynecological diseases in women. The clinical incidence of abnormal leucorrhea is very high, which brings great trouble to female friends.

Measures to prevent abnormal leucorrhea

1. Pay attention to self-regulation

In daily life, women should learn to self-regulate and resolve emotional problems in life such as stress, excessive tension, bad mood, etc., maintain a cheerful and optimistic attitude, a happy mood and a stable mood, which will help prevent abnormal leucorrhea.

2. Enhance immunity and get enough sleep

Eat a balanced diet and eat more foods rich in vitamins. Keep exercising to improve your physical fitness.

3. Change your underwear frequently

Underwear is the underwear of the genitals. Clean and soft underwear can keep the genitals dry and hygienic. Otherwise, the genital environment will become humid and hot, which is easy to breed bacteria. Therefore, it is recommended that women put on clean underwear immediately after cleaning the vulva, preferably cotton underwear, to reduce the irritation of the clothes to the vulva.

4. Do not over-clean the vagina

Under normal circumstances, our vagina will maintain the pH balance on its own. Try not to clean the vagina with detergents or disinfectants, or even scrub it excessively. This may not only disrupt the balance of the vaginal environment, but may also cause vaginal damage. So usually just rinse it with warm water.

5. Pay attention to your sex life

Women who have sex should pay attention to the hygiene and regularity of their sex life, avoid unclean sex or too many sexual partners, and avoid sex during menstruation, etc., which can help prevent abnormal leucorrhea.

The amount of vaginal discharge increases significantly, with white foam and a sour smell. Metronidazole tablets can be used, 200 mg three times a day.

2. Abnormal vaginal discharge caused by gonorrheal vaginitis: If the secretion is bean dregs-like and the vulva is itchy, you may be infected with candidal vaginitis; if the secretion is extremely abundant and yellow and purulent, and your partner has a history of promiscuity, you may have gonorrheal vaginitis; during treatment, you can try the following methods: use Chinese patent medicines such as honeysuckle 10g, goldenrod 15g, bamboo shoots 15g, stone reed 10g, rush 20g, plantain 10g, and phellodendron 15g, decoct in water and drink as tea, once a day.
