Methods of TCM Syndrome Differentiation for Treating Amenorrhea

Amenorrhea brings a lot of pain to patients and seriously causes female infertility. It needs timely treatment. There are many methods. The following are the methods of TCM differentiation and treatment of amenorrhea:

Liver depression and qi stagnation, stomach disharmony and descent, meridian obstruction

Treatment method: Soothe the liver and stomach, promote blood circulation and unblock menstruation.

Prescription name: Shugan Huoxue Tongjing Decoction.

Ingredients: roasted Cyperus rotundus 10g, Evodia rutaecarpa 6g, Ginger Pueraria lobata 6g, Salvia miltiorrhiza 15g, Toosendan fruit 10g, roasted Corydalis 6g, Prunus persica 6g, Citrus aurantium 6g, Angelica sinensis 12g, Cortex Moutan 10g, Pinellia 10g, Paeonia lactiflora 6g, Scorched Sanxian 6g.

Usage: Decoction in water, 1 dose per day, 3 times a day.

Treatment method: Soothe the liver and relieve depression, promote qi and regulate menstruation.

Prescription name: Siwu Xiaoyao Decoction.

Ingredients: Bupleurum 9g, Angelica 9g, Chuanxiong 9g, Cyperus 9g, Corydalis 9g, Peach Kernel 9g, Carthamus 9g, Paeonia lactiflora 12g, Rehmannia glutinosa 12g, Citrus aurantium 6g.

Usage: Decoction in water, 1 dose per day, twice a day.

Qi stagnation and blood stasis

Treatment method: Promote blood circulation and regulate Qi.

Prescription name: Huoxue Decoction.

Ingredients: peach kernel 9g, safflower 9g, Radix Angelicae Sinensis 9g, Eupatorium fortunei 9g, white peony root 9g, Cyperus rotundus 9g, dried tangerine peel 9g, Achyranthes bidentata 9g, Leonurus japonicus 12g, Salvia miltiorrhiza 30g, Bupleurum 6g, Licorice 3g.

Usage: Decoction in water, 1 dose per day, twice a day.
