In severe cases, symptoms may persist for a long time, and physical examinations show no organic changes. Symptoms vary in severity, or one symptom is dominant, or several symptoms coexist. Common symptoms include mental tension, emotional instability, lack of concentration, irritability, depression, insomnia, headache, breast pain, etc. Polycystic ovary syndrome Some patients with irregular menstruation may develop polycystic ovary syndrome, which is manifested by symptoms such as infrequent menstruation or amenorrhea, infertility, hirsutism and obesity, and polycystic enlargement of both ovaries. Redness of the face, neck, and chest Some patients with menstrual disorders experience a series of physical and psychological symptoms caused by fluctuations or decreases in sex hormones before and after menopause. They have repeated short-term blushing of the face, neck and chest, accompanied by hot flashes and subsequent sweating. It usually lasts for 1 to 3 minutes. In mild cases, the symptoms occur several times a day, and in severe cases, more than ten times or more. It is easy to precipitate at night or under stress. |
