Changes of cervix after microwave treatment of cervical erosion

After half a month of treatment, vaginal discharge gradually decreases, and necrosis at the treatment site disappears; about 40 days later, the cervix becomes red or pink, and squamous epithelium begins to grow from the periphery to the cervical opening; about 2 months later, cervical congestion decreases, local squamous epithelium regenerates, interstitial blood vessels expand, and granulation tissue proliferates. After about 2 weeks, the color of the cervix can return to normal and the cervix can become smooth.

It should be noted that the above cervical changes are the recovery process of most women. In fact, not all women can achieve the expected results after microwave treatment of cervical erosion.
