Precautions after using Lipu knife to treat cervical erosion

For patients with cervical erosion that is deep, wide, or involves the cervical canal, surgical treatment can be applied, and the surgical method is mostly Lip knife treatment. Patients need to undergo appropriate nursing care after Lip knife treatment to consolidate the therapeutic effect. The nursing care methods include the following:

1. Avoid sexual intercourse as much as possible

There will be a wound after Lip Knife treatment, and the wound generally takes about 2 months to heal. If you have sexual intercourse during the healing period, the mechanical stimulation will affect the healing of the wound. It may also cause vaginal inflammation in women and affect the repair of normal cervical tissue, which is not conducive to the patient's recovery. Therefore, patients should try to avoid sexual intercourse within 2 months after surgery.

2. Keep the vulva clean

After the liposuction treatment, the wound surface needs a certain amount of time to heal, and a large amount of vaginal discharge often occurs during the healing process, which brings certain inconvenience to the patient. At this time, the patient should maintain the hygiene of the vulva, pay attention to cleaning the vulva, change underwear frequently, and use sanitary pads when necessary, but do not use vaginal suppositories or perform vaginal douching on your own, so as not to affect the recovery of the disease.

3. Regular review

The patient should be reexamined one week after surgery to record wound repair, vaginal bleeding and secretions, and trace pathological results; reexamine after the first menstrual period after surgery to understand the cervical repair. If the cervical repair is poor, appropriate treatment can be given according to the patient's condition, and other local treatment methods can be used as an auxiliary if necessary.
