Dysfunctional uterine bleeding caused by qi deficiency

Dysfunctional uterine bleeding caused by qi deficiency

Xiao Huang, 30 years old, has been feeling dizzy and weak all over recently. She is out of breath and has a rapid heartbeat after climbing two flights of stairs. In addition, her menstruation is very painful and heavy, and lasts for nearly ten days. She feels weaker and weaker, and her spirit is "lost". She decided to find an old Chinese doctor to adjust her physical condition. As a result, she was diagnosed with "menorrhea", which is functional uterine bleeding, also known as functional uterine bleeding. The doctor determined that Xiao Huang's symptoms were caused by qi deficiency. The doctor told Xiao Huang about qi deficiency in detail and gave her good medication guidance.

Qi deficiency is the most common pathogenesis of functional uterine bleeding when it is out of balance. Knowing more about Qi deficiency will help prevent and treat the disease.

1. Gynecological characteristics

Early menstruation, heavy flow, light color, thin texture, metrorrhagia, uterine prolapse, and continuous lochia.

2. Systemic symptoms

Pale complexion, shortness of breath and fatigue, low voice, dizziness, palpitations and sweating, empty lower abdomen, pale tongue with thin white coating, and slow and weak pulse.

3. Dialectical Analysis

Qi deficiency refers to the pathological phenomenon of functional decline of the whole body or a certain internal organ. If the body is weak, the vital energy is insufficient, or the body is disordered after illness or childbirth, or if the body is overworked, it will cause qi deficiency. If the body is deficient in qi, the body will have weakened functions, so the spirit will be tired, the breath will be short and the voice will be low. If the qi does not rise, the face will be pale, if the lung qi is deficient, the patient will sweat spontaneously, if the spleen qi is insufficient, the patient will have poor appetite, and if the heart qi is insufficient, the patient will have palpitations. Qi can absorb blood. If the qi is deficient in control, the patient may suffer from premature menstruation, heavy menstruation, metrorrhagia, and postpartum lochia. If the qi is deficient and sinks, the yin will fall down.
