Improper cleaning of the washing machine may cause vaginitis

Washing machines have brought convenience to thousands of households, but they have also become a "hidden killer" of women's health. Mold hidden in washing machines can cause women to suffer from vaginitis.

Vaginitis is caused by washing machine

At present, the residual water of the fully automatic washing machine used in our homes is not easy to drain cleanly, and the gap between the dehydration tank and the washing tank is also very small. These structures create a good breeding environment for mold. Generally speaking, after five months of frequent use of a newly purchased washing machine, the mold in the inner barrel begins to increase, and the mold spores are all over the machine barrel with the flow of water. Some strains cannot be eliminated even by exposure to sunlight. Moreover, according to the test results, it is Candida albicans that causes fungal vaginitis. The dirt mainly comes from the scale in the tap water, the cellulose of the clothes, and the dust and bacteria brought in by the clothes. They are firmly attached to the washing machine, reproduce and ferment at room temperature, and seriously contaminate the clothes again when washing.

Clean the washing machine to prevent vaginitis

1. A disease prevention and control center randomly checked 128 household fully automatic turbine washing machines that had been used for more than one year and found that 81.3% of them had excessive bacteria, 60.2% had mildew, and 100% had total coliform bacteria. 54.7% of the above three indicators exceeded the standard at the same time. The longer the washing machine is used, the more bacteria will grow inside, and the more serious the pollution to the clothes will be.

The germs in the washing machine tub can usually coexist with the human body for a long time. Once the human body's resistance is reduced, it may cause related diseases, especially for the elderly and children with poor immunity.

A considerable number of families like to place the washing machine in a poorly ventilated place or in a humid bathroom. Because the humidity of the environment is high, this will cause the microorganisms in the washing machine to multiply in large numbers.

2. Washing machines should be cleaned with special detergents every three months. If you cannot buy professional detergents, you can use some "homemade methods" - directly pour the items to be disinfected together with the prepared disinfectant into the washing tub, soak for 30 to 60 minutes, and then rinse with clean water. Open the lid of the washing machine frequently to keep the inside dry. After washing clothes, take them out to dry immediately, and do not leave them in the washing machine.
