3 major hazards of dysmenorrhea

Many women experience dysmenorrhea, either mild or severe, during menstruation, which is often manifested as lower abdominal distension, abdominal pain, back pain, etc. Severe dysmenorrhea may affect their normal work and life. The occurrence of dysmenorrhea makes many women afraid of menstruation.

In fact, dysmenorrhea can be relieved through conditioning, such as adjusting emotions, eliminating tension and fear, and participating in appropriate labor to divert attention; paying attention to hygiene and diet during menstruation, eating less raw, cold and irritating foods; and strengthening physical exercise during the non-menstrual period.

Many women think that dysmenorrhea is common to all women and is not a disease. However, if dysmenorrhea is not treated and regulated in time, it can cause great harm, such as breast hyperplasia, infertility, facial problems, uterine abnormalities, etc.

1. Breast hyperplasia: Dysmenorrhea can cause breast hyperplasia. Most women with dysmenorrhea will experience nipple pain before menstruation. If the nipples are still painful after menstruation and there are nodules when touched, you should go to the hospital for examination in time.

2. Infertility: Among infertile women, about 60% of them experience varying degrees of dysmenorrhea during menstruation. This shows that dysmenorrhea and infertility are indeed closely related.

3. Facial problems: Women with dysmenorrhea may experience not only abdominal pain, but also dull complexion, dry facial skin, and other facial problems, which may easily lead to pigmentation, acne, and other facial problems.
