Massage combined with diet therapy to drive away cervicitis

Linda is a 35-year-old white-collar worker who often works overtime and has an irregular diet. She often eats some non-nutritious fast food in the office. In the past year, Linda has developed a secret problem - cervicitis. She often feels bloated in her lower abdomen, uncomfortable in her waist, and urinates frequently. The most uncomfortable thing is the itching of her private parts, which often makes Linda unable to concentrate in meetings. She has taken a lot of antibiotics, but once she stops taking them, the symptoms reappear. Linda had no choice but to see a Chinese doctor.

Traditional Chinese medicine believes that Linda's cervicitis is caused by damp-heat. The symptoms of damp-heat cervicitis are: heavy vaginal discharge, yellow-white or purulent, or bloody. Painful intercourse or vaginal bleeding after intercourse, back pain, abdominal distension, or frequent urination, pain, vaginal itching, bitter mouth and dry throat. Red tongue with yellow greasy coating, and slippery pulse.

According to Linda's request, the doctor did not prescribe her medicine, but told Linda a method of treating cervicitis through massage and diet therapy.

massage

First, rub your palms to warm them up, then push your palms down and rub your lower abdomen several times, then use your palms to massage the inner thighs several times, and apply more techniques to the painful areas until you feel the heat. Finally, rub your lumbar sacral area several times with your palms, then use the rubbing method for 2 to 3 minutes to transfer the heat to your lower abdomen. After a few weeks of continuous use, the symptoms will be significantly improved.

Diet therapy

Purslane and lean meat soup

Ingredients: 250 grams of lean pork, 30 grams each of purslane and water chestnut.

Preparation method: Wash purslane, water chestnuts and lean pork and put them into a pot; add appropriate amount of water, boil over high heat, then reduce to low heat and simmer for 2 hours. Serve with meals.

Linda persisted in self-care for 2 weeks and felt the effect was good, so she continued for another 2 weeks. Now her cervicitis symptoms have disappeared. Linda plans to have regular massages in the future and eat this purslane and lean meat soup once a week to prevent the recurrence of cervicitis.
