External use of Gongmi San to treat cervical erosion

External use of Gongmi San to treat cervical erosion

At the age of 26, Xiao Ma is already a senior executive of a private company and is very successful in his career. However, Xiao Ma himself knows that he has been suffering from excessive vaginal discharge, mental fatigue, loss of appetite, occasional lower abdominal pain, and backache for more than a year.

Xiaoma's menstrual cycle is normal, with moderate menstrual flow and light red color, and the menstrual period is generally 5 to 7 days. After a gynecological examination, Xiaoma was diagnosed with cervical erosion of grade II with chronic pelvic inflammatory disease. This diagnosis was beyond Xiaoma's expectations, and she began to regret that she had delayed so long to see a doctor for the sake of face. The doctor hoped that Xiaoma would go to the hospital for physical therapy every day, but she refused because of work reasons.

Xiao Ma went to a traditional Chinese medicine hospital. The doctor examined her and found that her tongue was pale, her tongue coating was white and greasy, her pulse was deep and thin, and she was diagnosed with leukorrhea caused by spleen deficiency and dampness. The doctor prescribed a prescription for internal and external use to strengthen the spleen and replenish qi, remove dampness and stop leukorrhea. The internal prescription was the addition of the Dai Decoction, and the external use was Gong Mi San, which the doctor prepared. Gong Mi San has the effects of clearing away heat and detoxifying, collecting dampness and killing insects, stopping bleeding, removing rot and regenerating flesh. Its drug composition is equal amounts of Sophora flavescens, Galla chinensis, Phellodendron chinense, Alum, Cnidium monnieri, Frankincense, Myrrh, and Borneol.

The method of using Gong Mi San is: use a dilator to fully expose the cervix, first wipe the cervix and vaginal wall with a cotton ball soaked in 0.5% metronidazole solution, and clean the secretions, then use a cotton ball to stick the Gong Mi San powder to the local part of the cervix so that it fully covers the eroded surface of the cervix. Stop taking the medicine during menstruation, once a day, and one month is a course of treatment.

At the beginning, Xiao Ma was skeptical about the effectiveness of this so-called cervical erosion medicine, but after taking it for a week, Xiao Ma felt that the medicine prescribed by the doctor was very effective. After four weeks of treatment, Xiao Ma's symptoms had been significantly improved. After continuing the consolidation treatment for one month, all Xiao Ma's symptoms disappeared and the cervical erosion was cured.
