Is amenorrhea before 40 early menopause?

Is amenorrhea before 40 early menopause?

Women will slowly enter menopause when they are around 45 years old. However, with the accelerated pace of modern life, many female friends, especially white-collar women, experience menopausal symptoms in their 30s, and the most common symptom of menopause is amenorrhea. So why do these women experience menopause and amenorrhea before the age of 40?

Some experts believe that the phenomenon of early menopause accompanied by amenorrhea is mainly due to the current lifestyle. Many women have two jobs - white-collar workers in the workplace + housewives. The work pressure in the workplace is high and they are often nervous; when they return home, they have to face a lot of housework and children's education. This situation makes women often feel tired, nervous, and irritable, which is very detrimental to women's health. In addition, amenorrhea may also be caused by premature ovarian failure. Although this is a very natural phenomenon, due to the serious trend of menopause at a younger age today, this phenomenon still needs to be taken seriously. Many women do not care about premature ovarian failure, and even think that it is easy not to have menstruation, and do not go to the hospital for treatment at all. Most premature ovarian failure is discovered when they are infertile. If premature ovarian failure is not treated in time and amenorrhea is allowed, patients will suffer from symptoms such as osteoporosis, cardiovascular disease and lipid metabolism disorders.

Generally speaking, menopausal women will experience menstrual disorders, scanty menstruation and even amenorrhea. Among them, menopausal amenorrhea is what we often call the female perimenopause, which usually occurs between the ages of 45 and 55, with an average menopausal age of 49. If amenorrhea occurs before the age of 40, it is likely that ovarian function is declining, followed by varying degrees of menopausal symptoms such as hot flashes, sweating, anxiety, depression, irritability, etc.

Premature ovarian failure is closely related to some external environment, work and life pressure, and one's own physical fitness. In addition, repeated artificial abortions can also lead to premature ovarian failure. Therefore, white-collar women should pay attention to properly adjust the pressure of work and life. A regular life can relieve fatigue at work, and moderate exercise can improve blood circulation and prevent nervous system diseases.
