As the saying goes, anger hurts the body. Hong Min was often angry with her mother-in-law over the issue of having a child, and the more she wanted, the less she had. What was even more terrible was that since she got angry with her mother-in-law during her menstrual period, Hong Min's menstruation stopped at that time, and later began to become disordered. Her menstruation often invaded, and it had no regular pattern. The blood was dark red, and she often had dysmenorrhea. She went to the hospital for a check-up and was diagnosed with functional uterine bleeding, which was caused by liver qi stagnation, leading to infertility. When talking about this matter, Hong Min felt sad. So what are the symptoms of this disease? The main symptoms of liver qi stagnation and functional blood stasis are: Gynecological characteristics: irregular menstruation, dark red blood, irregular menstruation, dysmenorrhea, infertility, etc. Systemic symptoms: distension of the chest, flanks, breasts, and lower abdomen, chest tightness and discomfort, belching, sighing, loss of appetite, normal tongue, thin white tongue coating, and wiry pulse. Syndrome differentiation and analysis: The meridian of the liver passes through the genitals, reaches the lower abdomen, and spreads to the ribs. When the liver qi is stagnant, the qi in the meridians will be stagnant and unable to flow, so there will be distension and pain in the ribs, chest tightness and discomfort, sighing, distension and pain in the lower abdomen, or breast swelling before menstruation, dysmenorrhea, and lack of milk. Stagnation of qi will cause the stomach to lose harmony and descend, so there will be belching, vomiting, and loss of appetite. When the liver is depressed, the flow of qi will be abnormal, the qi and blood will be disordered, and the blood sea will be restless, so the menstrual period may be early or late, and the amount of menstruation may be more or less. When the liver is depressed and the qi is not conducive, and the blood is stagnant, the menstrual color will be dark purple with blood clots, the face will be faintly blue, or even amenorrhea. Stagnation of liver qi will cause dysfunction of the flow of qi, disharmony of qi and blood, and the inability of Chong and Ren to support each other, which can cause infertility. In addition, once the meridians are depressed and angry, the body will tremble and the limbs will be numb, and even Fainting, clenching of hands, chest fullness, choking, and gurgling in the throat are all caused by Qi stagnation in the chest, which blocks the Qi and affects the circulation of Qi and blood throughout the body. This is also a sign of liver depression. If liver depression persists for a long time, there will be pain in the ribs, which is often mild during the day and severe at night, and the tongue is dark purple, or there are ecchymoses on the sides of the tongue. These are signs of blood stasis caused by liver depression and Qi stagnation. |
