Clinical symptoms of cervicitis

Clinical symptoms of cervicitis

Cervicitis is also a common gynecological disease in recent years. Therefore, the majority of female friends must understand the clinical symptoms of cervicitis so that they can detect the disease in time in the early stage, which is very helpful for our early treatment!

What are the clinical symptoms of cervicitis? We have to admit that cervicitis may turn into cancer, but some people even talk about cancer and become "cancer-phobic" and affect their personal emotions and even their daily lives. These are all incorrect. Chronic cervicitis and cervical cancer have some common symptoms, such as vaginal spotting after sexual intercourse or bloody vaginal discharge. In this case, cervical smears, colposcopy cervical biopsies, etc. must be performed to exclude cancer before treating cervicitis. However, before treating cervicitis, it is necessary to recognize the classification of cervicitis.

1. Acute cervicitis: increased leucorrhea, which is purulent, accompanied by low back pain, lower abdominal discomfort, frequent urination, urgency, pain during sexual intercourse, and sometimes purulent secretions flowing out of the cervical opening.

2. Chronic cervicitis: excessive leucorrhea, which is white and mucous or contains blood, bloody leucorrhea or bleeding during intercourse, accompanied by vulvar itching, lumbosacral pain, and worsening during menstruation. When the inflammation spreads to the pelvic cavity, there may be lumbosacral pain, lower abdominal distension, and dysmenorrhea, which worsens before and after menstruation, defecation, and sexual intercourse, and is sometimes accompanied by frequent urination, dysuria, irregular menstruation, infertility, etc.
