The treatment of cervicitis should start with specific symptoms

Women are one of the groups that are very vulnerable to diseases. Many gynecological diseases are widely spread among women, such as cervicitis. Patients with cervicitis are basically chronic cervicitis. This disease cannot be cured by immediate means, and can only be alleviated by persistent treatment. So, what aspects should be taken into consideration in the treatment of chronic cervicitis?

Gynecological experts say that the main symptom of chronic cervicitis is increased leucorrhea. Leucorrhea is milky white and mucous, sometimes yellow or pus-like. When polyps are formed, bloody leucorrhea or bleeding after sexual intercourse may occur. When the inflammation spreads to the pelvic cavity, there may be lumbar pain, lower abdominal distension and dysmenorrhea. These symptoms worsen before and after menstruation, defecation and after sexual intercourse. Sometimes they are also accompanied by frequent urination, dysuria, irregular menstruation, infertility, etc.

The treatment of chronic cervicitis should be based on drug therapy, surgical treatment and local treatment:

Drug treatment: Suitable for patients with small erosion area, shallow inflammation or limited conditions. Use 25% silver nitrate or other local corrosion. Vagina should be irrigated before medication, and then wiped dry with dry cotton balls, and cotton balls should be used to protect the normal vaginal mucosa. Chinese medicine powder can also be used, but it is forbidden to use during menstruation and pregnancy. Sexual intercourse and bathing are prohibited after medication.

Local treatment: Suitable for all kinds of patients. Local treatment includes quadruple therapy - vaginal flushing with liquid medicine, ozone mist, red light irradiation, and symptomatic medication inside the vagina. There is also Chinese medicine liquid flushing with liquid medicine followed by red light or microwave irradiation.

Surgical treatment: Surgical treatment is generally a permanent solution. If the scab surface heals well, and you pay attention to your diet and hygiene habits in daily life, you can avoid suffering from chronic cervicitis again.

From the above content, we can see that although cervicitis can be treated with three methods, each method has specific symptoms. It can also be said that the treatment of cervicitis must be symptomatic. Only in this way can good results be achieved.
