Can’t lose weight? It turns out that it is hormone imbalance. Let go of these three NG foods

When your appetite is like a wild horse, you want to eat all the time, and you can never feel full no matter how much you eat, then it is possible that your leptin is out of balance! A well-known Korean weight loss doctor said that "leptin" is a hormone that regulates appetite and makes people feel full, but when you eat too much processed food and too many calories, it will produce "leptin resistance", which makes you never feel full no matter how much you eat, causing you to gain weight. If you want to stay away from the state of appetite explosion, it is best not to touch the following 3 kinds of food!

Leptin, the key to controlling appetite, increases satiety

The cause of obesity is usually uncontrollable appetite, eating too many calories that the body cannot consume. These excess calories will be converted into fat and stored in the body, becoming the lingering three layers of fat on the belly. Dr. Park Yong-woo, a Korean authority on weight loss, stated in his book "Uncontrolled Appetite" that the hormone that regulates appetite in the body is called "leptin." When the leptin level in the body decreases, you will want to eat constantly; when the leptin concentration increases, your appetite will decrease.

When the body is in a state of hunger, the hypothalamus will receive a signal of insufficient leptin, so the brain will stimulate appetite, slow down metabolism, and emit a strong feeling of hunger; however, after a full meal, the body will automatically secrete leptin, making people feel full and thus reducing appetite.

Leptin has resistance, making people feel full

However, when you eat too many processed foods that destroy hormones at one time, these foods will cause a sharp increase in leptin secretion. This is when the problem arises. Since the genes in the body have not experienced excessive leptin secretion, the leptin receptors cannot receive the signal of increased leptin.

At this time, the brain will mistakenly think that it is still in a state of leptin deficiency, and thus make the judgment that "more fat must be stored". As a result, even if you have eaten a lot of food, you do not feel full and it is difficult to control your appetite. This phenomenon is called "leptin resistance". Leptin resistance will cause your appetite to get out of control and you will eat more and more. By the time you lose weight and can no longer fit into your clothes, you have usually gained a lot of weight.

Drinks, cakes, and donuts that contain a lot of sugar and high fructose syrup can cause the leptin function that controls appetite to become dysfunctional, causing your appetite to continue to explode.

If you don't want to have a big appetite, here are the three most NG foods to try.

Dr. Park Yong-woo pointed out that if you want to fundamentally solve the problem of leptin resistance, you must stay away from foods that cause leptin resistance. It is best to eat less of the following foods that mess up your hormones.

NG Food 1: High Fructose Syrup

Drinks, biscuits, cakes, donuts, chocolates, etc. that contain a lot of sugar and high fructose syrup will make your blood sugar rise quickly. In the long run, it will cause the insulin that controls blood sugar and the leptin that controls appetite to function abnormally, causing your appetite to continue to explode.

NG Food 2: Trans Fats

Trans fats are the product of partial "hydrogenation" of vegetable oils, which can give vegetable oils a higher smoke point (heat resistance) and can be used to make foods that require high-temperature cooking such as baking and frying. Foods containing trans fats include cakes, biscuits, fried chicken, French fries, crispy chicken, donuts, layered, crispy cakes or some Western breads.

Since fried chicken, French fries, and fried chicken that are deep-fried at high temperatures are usually delicious and filling, they often disrupt your appetite, causing you to consume too many calories without realizing it, which affects the leptin that regulates your appetite. In addition, consuming about 4 to 5 grams of artificial trans fats per day will increase the bad cholesterol in the blood, lower the good cholesterol, and increase triglycerides, making blood vessels more susceptible to blockage and inflammation, increasing the risk of cardiovascular disease by 23%.

NG Food 3: Salty Foods High in Sodium

Salty foods with high sodium content are also addictive, especially foods like biscuits and bread that have a salty taste behind the sweetness of sugar. It is easiest to eat them one bite after another and make you addicted to eating too many calories. This type of processed food will usually cause your leptin to be out of balance.
