What are the precautions for pregnancy and how to care for diffuse adenomyosis

The appearance of adenomyosis makes many female friends very afraid whether it will affect their fertility. So, what are the preventive measures for pregnancy with diffuse adenomyosis and how to care for it?

Women with diffuse adenomyosis are prone to miscarriage in early pregnancy due to unstable fetal development. Therefore, patients with adenomyosis should actively take some fetal protection measures in early pregnancy.

1. Patients with adenomyosis should pay more attention to their own and fetal conditions in the early stages of pregnancy, go to the hospital for regular pregnancy checks, and use drugs to protect the fetus under the guidance of a doctor. If there are any discomfort or symptoms of threatened abortion, they should pay attention in time and go to the hospital for fetal protection treatment as soon as possible.

2. Women with adenomyosis should pay attention to a light diet in the early stages of pregnancy, increase the intake of protein, vitamins and minerals, ensure a balanced intake of various nutrients, and a combination of meat and vegetables. We should also avoid eating peppers, coffee and other irritating foods, as well as pickled meats, kimchi and other foods with high salt content.

The pathology of adenomyosis is that the uterus is mostly uniformly enlarged, but the size of the uterus rarely exceeds 12 weeks of pregnancy. There are two types of uterine lesions: diffuse and localized. Generally, diffuse growth affects the posterior wall more, so the posterior wall is often thicker than the anterior wall. Cutting the uterine wall shows that its muscle layer is obviously thickened and hard. There is no fibroid in the cross section, and obvious and regular vortex structures can be seen. There are only thick muscle fiber bands and microcystic cavities, and old blood can occasionally be seen in the cavity. A small number of endometrium grows in the myometrium to form nodules or masses, similar to intramural fibroids, which are called adenomyomas.
