How to treat the causes of uterine prolapse?

The causes of uterine prolapse are generally birth injury, ovarian dysfunction, increased abdominal pressure, etc. Patients can take medication or undergo surgical treatment under the guidance of a doctor.

Causes of uterine prolapse:

1. Delivery injury: If the patient has dystocia, prolonged second stage of labor, or vaginal surgery during delivery, it is easy to damage the cervix, uterosacral ligaments, and pelvic floor muscles. If the supporting tissue cannot return to normal after delivery, uterine prolapse may occur.

2. Ovarian dysfunction: If the patient is older or other factors lead to ovarian dysfunction, the secretion of estrogen will decrease, making the pelvic floor support tissue weak and loose, which in turn makes the patient more susceptible to uterine prolapse.

3. Increased abdominal pressure: Patients who frequently lift heavy objects or engage in physical labor for a long time, have long-term chronic coughs, constipation, etc., will increase abdominal pressure and lead to uterine prolapse.

Treatment of uterine prolapse:

1. Delivery injury: If the patient has no abnormalities in the color Doppler ultrasound after delivery, special pelvic floor muscle rehabilitation treatment can be performed, namely electrical stimulation or electromagnetic therapy, to promote the contraction and recovery of the vaginal wall and pelvic floor muscles.

2. Ovarian dysfunction: Patients can take estradiol valerate tablets, progesterone capsules, Kuntai capsules, etc. under the guidance of a doctor, or undergo surgical treatment under the doctor's advice, such as Mann surgery, pelvic floor reconstruction surgery, etc.

3. Increased abdominal pressure: Patients should try to avoid behaviors that increase abdominal pressure, such as constipation, lifting heavy objects, heavy physical work, coughing, asthma, etc.
