How to treat cervical hypertrophy

How to treat cervical hypertrophy

Cervical hypertrophy is the proliferation of cervical tissue due to various factors such as chronic inflammatory stimulation, incomplete uterine involution, ovarian dysfunction, gynecological inflammation, etc. Cervical hypertrophy usually does not cause obvious symptoms, but sometimes there will be symptoms such as increased cervical secretions, lower abdominal distension, and bleeding after sexual intercourse. Cervical hypertrophy rarely requires treatment, but if there are symptoms or suspected malignant changes, you should seek medical treatment in time.

There are three main treatments for cervical hypertrophy:

1. Drug treatment: The most important treatment measure for acute cervicitis is the use of antibiotics, including cefaclor, metronidazole, etc., to control infection and prevent the disease from worsening.

2. Surgical treatment: For severe cervical hypertrophy or cervical polyps, surgical treatment such as cervical conization, hysteroscopy, etc. can be considered.

3. Other treatments: Benign warm stimulation can increase local blood circulation in the pelvis, improve the nutritional status of tissues, enhance metabolism, and other physical therapies and traditional Chinese medicine acupuncture.

During the treatment process, the doctor will choose the appropriate treatment method according to the patient's specific situation. At the same time, women should also pay attention to maintaining good living habits and hygiene habits to reduce the risk of infection and inflammation. If women experience cervical hypertrophy or other abnormal symptoms, they should seek medical treatment in time.
