1. Adenomyosis is more common in married women, so it is generally believed to be closely related to pregnancy, curettage, artificial abortion and childbirth. About 20% to 50% of adenomyosis is combined with endometriosis, and about 30% is combined with uterine fibroids. Pelvic inflammation is also common. Patients with adenomyosis have bleeding symptoms due to increased uterine volume, increased endometrial area, and ectopic endometrium between the uterine muscle walls that affects the contraction of uterine muscle fibers.

Most women with adenomyosis may know that they have uterine fibroids, but many wait until pregnancy to have a physical examination, and when the fibroids grow large enough to be touched by hand, they go to the hospital. A small number of patients may also have pain and excessive menstruation. When the records are too large, they will compress the ureter and bladder, causing frequent urination, urination disorders, bladder compression, and severe defecation difficulties.

3. Adenomyosis can also cause female infertility. Currently, there are many ways to treat adenomyosis. Women who have sex are advised to go to the hospital for a gynecological examination every six months or a year.
