Classification of cervical erosion Classification of cervical intraepithelial neoplasia Grading of cervical cancer

Cervical lesions include cervical erosion, cervical intraepithelial neoplasia, cervical cancer, etc. According to the severity of the disease, cervical erosion is divided into three stages: mild, moderate and severe; cervical intraepithelial neoplasia is also divided into three stages: grade 1, grade 2 and grade 3, and grade 3 is a precancerous lesion.

Cervical erosion, cervical intraepithelial neoplasia, cervical cancer and other diseases are all cervical lesions. When the condition is mild, there may only be leucorrhea, abnormal menstruation and other symptoms. In severe cases, it may be life-threatening. Clinically, these diseases are often divided according to the severity of the disease. Different classifications of diseases will also have different treatment methods. So, how are cervical lesions divided?
1. Classification of cervical erosion
1. Mild erosion
When cervical erosion is still in mild stage, the condition is relatively mild. Generally, the area of erosion will not exceed 1/3 of the entire cervical area, and the patient has no obvious discomfort symptoms. At this time, regular check-ups are sufficient and no treatment is required for the time being.
2. Moderate erosion
As the disease worsens, the area of erosion will gradually increase. When the area of erosion exceeds 1/3 of the cervix and is less than 2/3, it is considered moderate erosion. At this time, drugs such as erosion suppositories can be used for treatment.
3. Severe erosion
When the area of erosion exceeds 2/3 of the entire cervix, it has reached severe erosion. At this time, the cervical erosion is more serious and can be treated with methods such as Lip knife.
2. Classification of Cervical Intraepithelial Neoplasia
1. Cervical intraepithelial neoplasia stage one
When cervical intraepithelial neoplasia is at stage one, there are only mild lesions. If you can actively exercise, improve your body's immunity, and pay attention to personal hygiene, it is possible to achieve self-healing.
2. Cervical intraepithelial neoplasia grade 2
If grade 1 lesions continue to develop, or if the patient has cervical intraepithelial neoplasia for more than two years, it may reach grade 2. At this point, the condition is already serious and requires cryotherapy or laser treatment.
3. Cervical intraepithelial neoplasia grade 3
At this point the condition has developed into precancerous lesions. If not treated in time, the possibility of cervical cancer is as high as 20%, so it is best to take cervical laparotomy for treatment in time.
3. Grading of cervical cancer
Cervical cancer can be divided into 5 stages according to the severity of the disease. If it is carcinoma in situ, it belongs to stage 0 of cervical cancer; if invasive cancer is found under fiberoptic microscope, it belongs to stage 1 of cervical cancer; when the cancer lesion exceeds the cervix and infiltrates into the vagina, it belongs to stage 2 of cervical cancer; if the cancer lesion reaches the pelvic wall, it is stage 3; when the cancer lesion infiltrates into the bladder mucosa and rectal mucosa, and even has distant metastasis, it reaches stage 4.
