What should women do if they have itching down there?

Itching in women's private parts is usually related to vaginitis, which is a common gynecological disease in women, mostly caused by not paying attention to hygiene and unclean sexual life. There are many types of vaginitis. Let's take a look at the treatment methods for vaginal itching.

1. Bacterial vaginitis: The leucorrhea is grayish white with foam and fishy smell. This is usually caused by not paying attention to personal hygiene, unclean sexual life, multiple sexual partners, etc. If the treatment is ineffective for a period of time, and the disease recurs after a period of time, it is mostly due to cross infection. In this case, the couple needs to be treated together.

2. Trichomonas vaginitis: Symptoms include purulent leucorrhea, which may also be liquid and sometimes bloody, and is more obvious before and after menstruation. It is better to use metronidazole drugs that are used to treat trichomoniasis alone, which will have a better effect.

3. Candidal vaginitis: The leucorrhea is like tofu dregs, and sometimes it flows out like yogurt. You can put vaginal mycotic tablets, suppositories and drugs containing mycotic inside at night, which will be more effective. It will be better if taken with oral tablets.

4. Keep the genitals clean and dry, do not use hot water or soap. Pay attention to menstrual hygiene, change menstrual pads frequently during menstruation, and wash the vulva frequently. Check with a doctor to see if there are mold or trichomonas. If there are, treat them in time. Remember not to use your own "anti-itching water" for treatment.

5. Avoid indiscriminate use, drug abuse, scratching and local friction.

6. Avoid alcohol and spicy food, and do not eat seafood or other drugs that may cause allergies. Do not wear pants with tight crotches. Underwear should be loose, breathable, and made of cotton.

Wash the vulva carefully every day, but not too frequently. Wash it 1-2 times a day. You can use light salt water to wash it, or boil pepper and let it cool to wash it. It can play an anti-inflammatory and detoxifying role. Change underwear every day, and it is best to expose the underwear to the sun. Do not use medication on your own when the vulva is itchy. Not only will it have no effect on treatment, it is more likely to cause other diseases.
