Can amenorrhea during childbearing age be cured?

The childbearing age is a stage that Chinese women need to pay attention to. This stage should be the best time for childbearing, but some women have amenorrhea, which makes them very worried. They are afraid that they will not be able to have children and will miss the qualification to be a mother. So, can amenorrhea during the childbearing age be cured? The following is an introduction for you.

Amenorrhea refers to the gradual prolongation of normal menstrual cycles and the longer intervals between menstruation. Amenorrhea is divided into primary amenorrhea and secondary amenorrhea. If a woman is over 18 years old but has not had her menstruation, it is classified as primary amenorrhea. If she has her menstruation but it suddenly stops for 6 months or more, it is called secondary amenorrhea.

Any woman who experiences menstruation may face the problem of amenorrhea. Temporary menstrual disorders caused by exams, work pressure, emotional distress and other factors do not fall into the category of amenorrhea. The main manifestations are delayed menstruation, abdominal distension and pain, no pregnancy but each menstruation is getting longer and longer, menstruation is not smooth, drip-by-drip and causes dysmenorrhea, and is also accompanied by uncontrollable temper and other emotional symptoms.

Some patients can resume menstruation after the cause is removed. For example, patients with neurological or mental stress should receive effective psychological counseling. Patients with low body weight or amenorrhea caused by excessive dieting or weight loss should adjust their diet and strengthen their nutrition. Patients with exercise-induced amenorrhea should appropriately reduce the amount of exercise and training intensity.

For amenorrhea caused by hypothalamic, pituitary and ovarian tumors, the tumors should be removed surgically. For amenorrhea caused by high Gn containing Y chromosome, the gonads have malignant potential and gonadectomy should be performed as soon as possible. Amenorrhea caused by genital tract malformation and menstrual blood drainage disorder should be corrected surgically to allow menstrual blood to flow out smoothly.

There are many reasons for amenorrhea, such as endocrine disorders, uterine diseases, gynecological inflammation, mood swings, drug effects, environmental changes, overwork and excessive mental stress. It is recommended that patients go to the hospital for relevant examinations in time, follow the doctor's advice for treatment after confirmation, and find the right cause to fundamentally solve the problem. Although amenorrhea seems serious, it can still be cured through conditioning.
