Endometrial tuberculosis is a disease with a wide distribution of lesions, such as the uterosacral ligament, rectouterine pouch, ovaries, various parts of the pelvic cavity and the surface of pelvic organs in women. Therefore, there are many symptoms. Here are some symptoms of endometrial tuberculosis. The main clinical manifestation is dysmenorrhea, which is mostly located in the lower abdomen and lumbosacral region, and can radiate to the vagina, perineum, anus or thighs, accompanied by pain during sexual intercourse. Progressive dysmenorrhea is the characteristic of this disease. Another characteristic is irregular menstruation, which is manifested by increased menstrual flow or prolonged menstrual period, dark purple menstrual blood with clots, poor drainage, and a few premenstrual spotting. The main pathological changes of endometrial tuberculosis are that the endometrium with tuberculosis implantation is dominated by ovarian hormones like the endometrium in situ, and periodic bleeding occurs. Blood, secretions, and tissue fragments accumulate in the interstitial space, and plasma and hemoglobin are slowly absorbed. A similar infection-like inflammatory reaction occurs around the lesion, and fibrous tissue proliferates, adheres, wrinkles, and forms scars. Purple-brown spots or vesicles appear at the lesion, and finally purple-blue nodules or masses of varying sizes are formed. The lesions vary depending on the location and degree of occurrence. Endometrial tuberculosis lesions are widely distributed, and are also distributed in various parts of the pelvic cavity and the surface of pelvic organs. According to the location, they are divided into peritoneal endometrial tuberculosis, ovarian endometrial tuberculosis, etc. Some patients have secondary infertility. During medical examination, the uterus is often retroverted and fixed, and tender nodules can be felt in the rectouterine pouch and other parts. Ovarian chocolate cysts can be found by ultrasound examination (B-ultrasound). In short, if women find that their bodies have some of the changes described above in their lives, they need to be vigilant. They may be suffering from endometrial tuberculosis. It is recommended that women seek medical treatment as soon as possible to stay away from the harm of this disease to the body. |
