The occurrence of such a disease has brought great impact to many patients and families, and family members are also anxious and worried. So how should pelvic peritonitis be treated? We asked the editor to introduce the traditional Chinese medicine treatment method of pelvic peritonitis.

Chinese Medicine Treatment

① Evil invades the chest and lungs: aversion to cold and fever, cough with little sputum, stabbing pain in the chest and ribs, bitter mouth and dry throat, red tongue with thin fur, and stringy and rapid pulse. Treatment: Reconcile and clear away heat, regulate qi and dredge collaterals. Prescription: 30g each of Trichosanthes and Cat's Eye Grass, 15g each of Bupleurum, Red and White Peony Root, 10g each of Scutellaria, Pinellia, Citrus Aurantium, Platycodon, and Morus alba, and 6g of Licorice.

② Fluid stagnation in the chest and flanks: pain caused by coughing and spitting, difficulty breathing, coughing and wheezing, inability to lie down, white and greasy tongue coating, deep and stringy pulse. Treatment: expel water and eliminate fluid. Prescription: 30g of Stemona, 15g each of Trichosanthes and Poria, 11g of Lemongrass, 10g each of Morus alba, Perilla, Tangerine peel, Pinellia, Zanthoxylum, Allium macrostemon, and Citrus aurantium, and 6g of Licorice.

③ Phlegm and stasis: chest pain, chest tightness, shortness of breath, prolonged and persistent, dark purple tongue, white fur, stringy pulse. Treatment: resolve phlegm and activate blood circulation, regulate qi and harmonize collaterals. Prescription: 30g of Coix seeds, 15g each of Trichosanthes, Red Peony Root, and Poria, 10g each of Inula flower, Su Yu, Apricot kernel, Pinellia tuber, Cyperus rotundus, Tangerine peel, Citrus aurantium, and Rhizoma Smilacis Glabrae, 6g each of processed Rumosum (wrapped and decocted).

④ Yin deficiency and internal heat: choking cough with little sputum, dry mouth and throat, hot flashes and night sweats, fever in the five hearts, red cheeks, thin body, red tongue with little coating, and thin pulse. Treatment: nourishing yin and clearing heat. Prescription: 15g each of Adenophora, Ophiopogon japonicus, Polygonatum odoratum, pollen, and Stemona, 13g of Pseudostellaria baicalensis, 10g each of Morus alba, Lycium bark, Chinese magnolia, Bupleurum chinense, Curcuma australis, and Apricot kernel, and 6g of Fritillaria cirrhosa powder (taken with water).

⑤ Jiaomu Tingli Decoction: This decoction carefully developed by Professor Kong Biaoru has made great progress in the treatment of pelvic peritonitis. It can help patients with treatment from the perspective of traditional Chinese medicine, and the rehabilitation effect is also very good.

Warm reminder: Traditional Chinese medicine has the characteristic of no side effects in treating diseases, so it is also a common treatment method for many people after suffering from diseases. However, it also depends on the severity of the patient's condition. If the condition is not too serious, you can take Chinese medicine slowly to regulate your body. Because traditional Chinese medicine treatment is relatively slow to take effect and requires a longer time to take, it can achieve the goal of curing the disease over time. I hope that patients can choose the correct treatment method after becoming ill.
