How to prevent cervical warts

I believe everyone has heard a lot about cervical warts. This disease is a serious sexually transmitted disease. Many patients will suffer a lot after suffering from cervical warts, because this disease is not only difficult to cure, but also can be transmitted to other people through sexual contact and indirect contact, causing serious harm to the patient and those around him.

(1) Resolutely put an end to sexual promiscuity: 60% of patients with cervical warts contract the disease through sexual contact. If one family member contracts the disease from society, they may infect their spouse through sexual intercourse, and may also pass it on to other family members through close contact. This not only causes physical pain, but also causes family discord and mental stress. Therefore, improving sexual morality and not engaging in extramarital sex are important aspects of preventing the occurrence of cervical warts.

(2) Prevent contact transmission: Do not use other people's underwear, swimsuits and bathtubs; do not wash in the basin in public baths, it is recommended to shower, and do not sit directly on the bath seat after bathing; try to use squat toilets in public toilets; wash hands with soap before going to the toilet; do not swim in swimming pools with high density and poor disinfection.

(3) Pay attention to personal hygiene: wash the vulva and change underwear every day, and wash your own underwear separately. Even among family members, each person should have his or her own basin and towel.

(4) The spouse should refrain from sexual intercourse after the disease. If the spouse has only received physical therapy, although the visible cervical warts on the vulva have disappeared, the patient still carries the human papillomavirus and should receive a comprehensive treatment of oral medication and external wash medication, and undergo a follow-up examination after treatment. If sexual intercourse occurs during this period, condoms can be used for protection.

(5) Pregnant women with cervical condylomata may choose to have a cesarean section to avoid infection of the fetus during delivery. Do not bathe in the same tub with the baby after delivery.
