Differential diagnosis of cervical condyloma

Differential diagnosis of cervical condyloma

Many people avoid talking about cervical warts, a relatively common sexually transmitted disease. In fact, we should do a good job of prevention in life, and then learn more about common sense issues about cervical warts, so that we can find the disease as early as possible. So, what are the methods for diagnosing cervical warts?

How to diagnose cervical warts:

1. Clinical trials of cervical warts. The acetic acid test and the toluidine blue test are two clinical examination methods for the diagnosis of cervical warts. Currently, the acetic acid test is mostly used in clinical trials, and a positive acetic acid test is of great significance for the diagnosis of cervical warts.

2. Clinical features of cervical warts. During the inspection, carefully observe the lesion shape, distribution, color, size, surface condition, etc. The characteristic lesions of cervical warts are typical cauliflower-shaped lesions, bright red, light red or a few dirty gray, the lesion tissue is brittle and easily bleeds after wiping.

Third, ask the patient whether he has a history of contact with infectious diseases of cervical warts, and focus on asking the patient's sexual partner whether he has cervical warts and other sexually transmitted diseases or sexual activities, such as oral sex, anal sex, etc. Most patients with cervical warts have abnormal or non-marital sexual life history, or have a history of sexual contact with patients with cervical warts or HPV-infected people, or share towels, clothes, basins and other items.

4. The most common sites for cervical warts are usually the vulva and anus of men and women. In addition to these sites, some special sites such as the mouth and throat should be noted in special populations. When checking the site of cervical warts, do not only check the site of the lesion described by the patient, but also conduct a more comprehensive examination of the patient. For example, when checking the vulva, the anus should also be checked. For patients with special sexual activities, the mouth, throat and other parts should also be checked.

Warm reminder: Patients with cervical warts should not worry too much about their symptoms. Going to the hospital for treatment in time after discovery can help them recover their health as soon as possible. Of course, they should maintain a happy mood in life and take isolation measures from their families to prevent the disease from being transmitted to their family members.
