What are the common symptoms of cervical precancerous lesions?

Cervical cancer is a common malignant tumor in women. It has no symptoms in the early stage, but after the disease, especially in the middle and late stages, the cure rate is very low. As a woman, you need to know more knowledge to protect yourself and understand the signs of cancer, which will have a significant effect on prevention and treatment.

The early lesions of cervical cancer are quite obvious, but some women still don't notice it. Gynecologists at Xuefu Hospital have summarized the symptoms of early lesions of cervix and hope that everyone will stay vigilant.

The first symptom of cervical precancerous lesions is bleeding after sexual intercourse. 70-80% of cervical cancer patients have this symptom;

The second cervical precancerous lesion is cervical erosion. Young women with cervical erosion that has not been treated for a long time, or still have cervical erosion after menopause, should be taken seriously;

The third cervical precancerous lesion is contact bleeding. Bleeding after sexual intercourse or uterine bleeding after gynecological examination are signs of cervical precancerous lesions;

The fourth cervical precancerous lesion is leucorrhea mixed with blood. In addition to uterine bleeding caused by IUD, women with long-term leucorrhea mixed with blood should be checked in time.

1. Increased vaginal discharge. Clinically, about 75-85% of cervical cancer patients have increased vaginal discharge to varying degrees. Most of them are manifested as increased leucorrhea, which is often accompanied by changes in odor and color. Increased leucorrhea is caused by cancer stimulation. After the lesion, due to necrosis of the cancer tissue and infection, purulent, rice-like or bloody leucorrhea with a foul odor will flow out of the vagina.

2. Irregular vaginal bleeding. Especially for elderly women who have been postmenopausal for many years, the amount of bleeding is not much, and there is no abdominal pain, back pain and other symptoms, which are easily ignored. In fact, this irregular vaginal bleeding is often an early sign of cervical cancer. Many elderly patients come to the doctor for this symptom, get early diagnosis and timely treatment. Therefore, the elderly should be highly vigilant.

3. Contact bleeding. Bleeding is the most prominent symptom of cervical cancer. About 70-80% of patients with cervical cancer have vaginal bleeding. It is often manifested as vaginal discharge mixed with blood after sexual intercourse, gynecological examination, or when straining to defecate. If elderly women experience bleeding after sexual intercourse, do not always think that it is caused by improper sexual intercourse and ignore the possibility of cervical cancer. If bleeding occurs every time after sexual intercourse, it should be taken seriously and medical treatment should be sought in time.

80% of cervical precancerous lesions can be cured through early detection and early treatment.

There are many treatment methods for cervical precancerous lesions, such as cervical electrocautery, electric baking, freezing, laser treatment, etc. Recently, the Cancer Hospital of the Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences has used special light to treat cervical precancerous lesions. In the past 10 months, the efficacy of 40 patients was over 95%, and the cure rate was 84.6%. It has special effects on chronic cervicitis and cervical erosion, and the one-time cure rate is high. In addition, improving women's hygiene, taking a bath frequently, actively treating cervical diseases; washing the foreskin of the spouse's penis or performing circumcision surgery early; and promoting premarital examinations are all important tasks in preventing cervical cancer.
