How to prevent chronic pelvic inflammatory disease

When chronic pelvic inflammatory disease occurs, the systemic symptoms are mostly not obvious, sometimes there may be low fever, fatigue, and a long course of disease. Due to pelvic congestion, patients may have increased menstruation, ovarian damage may cause menstrual disorders, and fallopian tube adhesions and blockage may cause infertility.

How to prevent pelvic inflammatory disease

Pelvic inflammatory disease is mainly caused by bacteria or pathogens that infect or spread along the lymphatic system, genital mucosa or through menstrual blood circulation. It may also be caused by infection of other abdominal organs and spread directly to the internal genitalia. Therefore, if you want to prevent the occurrence of pelvic inflammatory disease, you must block the transmission route of pelvic inflammatory disease.

1. Pay attention to postpartum or post-abortion care. The mother is weak after delivery, the cervix is not closed in time due to residual blood and turbid fluid flowing out, there is a detached surface of the placenta in the uterine cavity, or the birth canal is damaged during delivery, or there are residual placenta and fetal membranes, etc., which may give pelvic inflammatory disease an opportunity to take advantage.

2. Pay attention to personal hygiene during menstruation. Using unclean sanitary napkins and panty liners, taking a bath during menstruation, and having sexual intercourse during menstruation can all allow pathogens to invade and cause inflammation. Therefore, women should avoid sexual intercourse during menstruation and pay attention to the cleanliness of the vulva. Under normal circumstances, try not to use vaginal cleansing lotion to rinse the vagina.

3. Patients with malnutrition, weak constitution or chronic diseases should pay special attention to whether there are fungal infections in other parts of the body, actively control the onset of the original disease, and at the same time, actively exercise to improve the body's resistance.

4. Have regular gynecological examinations. Do not be careless if you have acute abdominal pain or other similar symptoms. Do not take medicine indiscriminately without knowing the cause.
