There are 6 points to pay attention to in the life of amenorrhea patients

Whether it is primary amenorrhea or secondary amenorrhea, in addition to symptomatic treatment, patients also need to pay attention to the following points in their daily lives:

(1) Maintain an optimistic attitude. Some patients experience amenorrhea due to excessive mental stress, fear, or changes in living areas, which cause dysfunction of the central nervous system and hypothalamus. Therefore, we should pay attention to regulating our emotions, keep a happy mood, cultivate the ability to withstand setbacks and adapt to environmental changes, and avoid unnecessary mental trauma. Only by regulating emotions and relaxing our minds can we make the Qi flow smoothly, and when the Qi flows, the blood flows, thus avoiding the occurrence of amenorrhea.

(2) Proper diet : Avoid overeating; avoid fatty and greasy foods, because people with plump and obese bodies are more likely to suffer from amenorrhea; avoid raw, cold, sour and astringent foods. Traditional Chinese medicine believes that cold can cause blood to stagnate, resulting in menstrual blood stasis. Astringent foods have astringent properties and can aggravate the condition.

(3) Avoid cold water, rain, cold bathing, thin clothing, damp living quarters, and stepping on dew in the morning, as these can cause blood stasis and lead to amenorrhea. Especially in the cold winter, you must not "freeze yourself" in pursuit of beauty.

(4) Sexual life should be moderate and normal. It is advisable to have sexual life twice a week. Excessive sexual life will damage the liver and kidneys, leading to loss of liver and kidney essence and gradually causing amenorrhea.

(5) Take good contraceptive measures and avoid artificial abortion. Unmarried women or married women who do not plan their family planning should take safe contraceptive measures to prevent unwanted pregnancy. Any method of artificial abortion can damage the endometrium.

(6) Appropriate breastfeeding : The appropriate breastfeeding period is 10 months to 1 year. Breastfeeding for too long can not only lead to maternal malnutrition, but also affect the synthesis and secretion of hormones. Traditional Chinese medicine believes that breast milk is produced by essence and blood. If the breastfeeding period is too long, the essence and blood will be depleted, which can lead to amenorrhea.
