Spleen deficiency has no power to control, Chong and Ren channels are out of balance, blood accumulation and overflow are abnormal, so menstruation is irregular; spleen deficiency is insufficient to produce qi and blood, so the menstrual color is light red and thin; spleen governs limbs and muscles, spleen deficiency will cause fatigue and weakness; spleen deficiency fails to transport and transform, so the abdomen is bloated, appetite is poor and food intake is less. Liver depression type The menstrual flow may be more or less, not smooth, with clots, and normal or purple-red in color. Or there may be premenstrual lower abdominal or breast pain, which may extend to the flanks, irritability, occasional sighing, a normal or red tongue, and a thin white or yellow tongue coating. Liver depression and qi stagnation, qi disorder, Chong and Ren dysfunction, abnormal blood accumulation, so menstruation may be early or late, menstrual blood may be more or less; liver qi stagnation, meridians are not smooth, so menstruation is not smooth, dark color with clots; liver depression and meridians are stagnant, so the chest, breasts, and lower abdomen are swollen and painful; qi is not smooth, so the spirit is depressed and the desire to sigh is sometimes; liver strength insults spleen, spleen is not comfortable, so belching and less appetite; the syndrome is qi stagnation, there is no cold or heat inside, so the tongue is normal. Pulse is stringy, which is a sign of liver depression. Soothe the liver and relieve depression, harmonize blood and regulate menstruation.
