Don't take painkillers easily for dysmenorrhea

Many young women have experienced dysmenorrhea. A survey of young women aged 14 to 25 showed that as many as 88% of women in this age group had experienced dysmenorrhea, irregular menstruation, abdominal distension, back pain and other problems.

When encountering dysmenorrhea, many girls have taken painkillers to relieve the pain. However, they do not know that although it can temporarily relieve the pain during menstruation, it has no therapeutic effect at all and may cause greater harm. For example, taking painkillers regularly will cause disorders in the nervous system, thereby aggravating the symptoms, and will cause dependence, and may also lead to adverse consequences such as memory loss and insomnia.

Most women with dysmenorrhea suffer from primary dysmenorrhea. It usually starts after menarche and occurs almost every month, which makes these women feel fearful, aggravating the onset of dysmenorrhea and even creating a vicious cycle. Therefore, women should learn about menstrual physiological hygiene and eliminate the fear before menstruation. At the same time, they should also pay attention to personal menstrual hygiene. If you feel uncomfortable in your stomach during menstruation, you can try to temporarily relieve it with a hot compress with a water bag or rose tea. However, if the pain cannot be relieved, you should go to the hospital's gynecology department for examination in time to treat it with the right medicine.
