Women who love sweets are more likely to suffer from candidal vaginitis

Vaginal candidiasis is a common female reproductive system disease with a high incidence rate, especially in pregnant women, young girls and diabetic patients. Epidemiological statistics show that about 3/4 of women have suffered from this disease in their lifetime, ranging from once to several times. The incidence of vaginitis is related to personal hygiene habits, obesity, pregnancy, large-scale use of immunosuppressants or broad-spectrum antibiotics, long-term use of contraceptives, frequent sexual intercourse, and wearing tight synthetic underwear.

Recent studies have found that women who love sweets are more likely to develop candidal vaginitis. The reason may be that eating more sweets leads to high blood sugar or urine sugar, increased glycogen in the vagina, increased acidity, and a large number of yeasts, which provide favorable conditions for the rapid growth and large-scale reproduction of Candida albicans. In addition, a survey study on patients with repeated candida infections showed that the blood sugar or urine sugar of the vast majority of patients was significantly higher than normal levels; after strictly controlling the sugar intake in the daily diet of these patients, more than 90% of the patients rarely had candidal vaginitis infection or recurrence within a year, indicating that sugar intake is closely related to candida infection.

In short, in daily life, you should control your sugar intake and have a balanced diet to avoid increasing the risk of candidal vaginitis. In addition, you should strengthen exercise, improve your body's immunity, wear comfortable cotton underwear, actively control blood sugar, and use antibiotics reasonably. Once symptoms such as vaginal itching, increased secretions, and odor occur, you must actively seek treatment to avoid delaying the disease.
