Introduction to the three main methods of treating adnexitis

The choice of treatment for adnexitis is very important. Improper treatment may cause the inflammation to spread to other parts of the body, causing a series of gynecological inflammations. The medical treatment of adnexitis mainly consists of the following three aspects, which are for reference only.

1. Vaginal medication

For patients whose condition is not very serious, one course of vaginal medication can cure it. Therefore, when patients find early symptoms, they must go to the hospital for treatment as soon as possible to avoid worsening of the condition. The treatment of this type of adnexitis is relatively common.

2. Antibiotic treatment

If the symptoms are obvious, antibiotics should be used first. Antibiotics can kill the remaining pathogenic bacteria and prevent acute attacks. The usage is the same as acute salpingo-oophoritis and pelvic peritonitis. This is one of the treatment methods for adnexitis.

3. Physical therapy

The benign stimulation of warmth can promote blood circulation in the pelvic cavity, improve the nutritional status of local tissues, and facilitate the absorption and disappearance of inflammation. Commonly used physical therapies include shortwave, ultrashortwave, infrared, audio, ion penetration, etc. However, physical therapy should not be used when the body temperature is too high or when suffering from genital tuberculosis. This is also a treatment measure for adnexitis.

The above are three common treatments for adnexitis. I believe that through the introduction of this article, everyone has a deeper understanding of the treatment of adnexitis. If you still have any questions about the treatment of adnexitis, you may wish to consult our online experts.
