6. Vulvar atrophy: Mild atrophy can be seen on the vulva. In severe cases, the clitoris, labia majora and minora may atrophy and become adhered, and the labia minora may partially or completely disappear. Later, they may become combined and tighten, and the vaginal opening may become narrow and lose its elasticity, which may even affect urination and sexual life.
