Introduction: The two main symptoms of adnexitis

Introduction: The two main symptoms of adnexitis

There are two main types of adnexitis. Almost all adnexitis patients fall into these two types of adnexitis and need to receive timely treatment to reduce damage. What are the symptoms of these two types of adnexitis ? Here is a brief introduction to the symptoms of these two types of adnexitis.

Common symptoms of adnexitis include:

Acute adnexitis

The symptoms of acute adnexitis are mainly acute lower abdominal pain, accompanied by fever. During gynecological examination, there is obvious tenderness and rebound pain in the adnexal area. Routine blood tests can show an increase in white blood cells and a significant increase in the proportion of neutrophils. If the symptoms of acute adnexitis are not treated in time or thoroughly, they can turn into chronic adnexitis.

Chronic adnexitis

Symptoms of chronic adnexitis include abdominal pain of varying degrees. Chronic inflammation recurs and persists for a long time, causing pelvic congestion, connective tissue fibrosis, and adhesion of pelvic organs. Patients experience symptoms such as lower abdominal distension, pain, and lumbosacral pain, which may be mild or severe, accompanied by increased vaginal discharge, back pain, and menstrual disorders, which often worsen during menstruation or after fatigue. During gynecological examinations, there is tenderness, thickening, or tender masses in the bilateral or unilateral adnexal area, and the white blood cell count is elevated or normal. These are all common symptoms of chronic adnexitis.

The above are the two main symptoms of adnexitis, I believe everyone should know about them. If you have these two symptoms of adnexitis, you must go to the hospital for treatment immediately, so as not to miss the best time for treatment, which is not good for the patient's condition.
