There are many causes of amenorrhea. In addition to identifying the causes and providing symptomatic treatment, the diet should also follow the following principles.

People with weak constitution should eat more foods that are nutritious and have blood-replenishing and blood-activating effects, such as eggs, milk, dates, longan meat, walnuts, lamb, etc.

For amenorrhea caused by qi stagnation and blood stasis, you can eat more products that can promote blood circulation and remove blood stasis, such as ginger, jujube, brown sugar, etc. You can boil brown sugar in water and drink it instead of tea, or take safflower wine orally.

For those who suffer from amenorrhea caused by extreme weight loss, special attention should be paid to changing eating habits, eliminating the mentality of aversion to food, strengthening the comprehensive supply of nutrition, improving the body's nutritional status and restoring the body to normal condition.

(3) Angelica and Egg Soup: 9 grams of angelica, 2 eggs. Wash the angelica, cut it into slices, put it into a clay pot with the eggs, add 3 bowls of water and cook together. After the eggs are cooked, peel them, poke more than 10 holes around the eggs with a needle, put them back into the pot and cook for another 15-20 minutes. It has the effects of replenishing qi and blood, regulating menstruation and nourishing the skin. It is suitable for women with blood deficiency.

Qi stagnation type amenorrhea.

(4) Achyranthes bidentata stewed with pig's trotters: 15g of Sichuan Achyranthes bidentata, 2 pig's trotters, 80ml of rice wine, and the hair of the pig's trotters is scraped off. Cut the two sides and cut into several small pieces. Put them into a large stew pot with Achyranthes bidentata, add 500ml of water, and stew until the pig's trotters are cooked. Remove the Achyranthes bidentata and eat the remaining pig's trotter meat and soup. It has the effect of promoting blood circulation, regulating menstruation and beautifying the skin. It is suitable for women with amenorrhea due to qi stagnation and blood stasis.
