Introduction to the symptoms of four common acute adnexitis

Early detection of the symptoms of acute adnexitis has a significant impact on treatment and can help patients with acute adnexitis better treat the treatment. What are the symptoms of acute adnexitis ? Here are some common symptoms of acute adnexitis.

In general, common symptoms of acute adnexitis include:

1. Abdominal pain: initially limited to lower abdominal pain, mostly bilateral, rarely vomiting, different from the pain of appendicitis transfer. In addition, patients with acute adnexitis have worsening abdominal pain during bowel movements, sometimes accompanied by urinary pain, often with constipation and abdominal distension. The presence of mucus in the stool is the result of inflammatory stimulation of the colon wall, with varying degrees of pain.

2. Irregular menstruation: The most common symptoms of acute adnexitis are frequent menstruation and excessive menstrual flow, which may be the result of pelvic congestion and ovarian dysfunction. Chronic inflammation leading to uterine fibrosis, incomplete uterine involution or abnormal uterine position caused by adhesions can all cause excessive menstruation.

3. Fever: Acute adnexitis patients will have a high fever of 39-40℃ when they develop the disease, and may have chills or shivering, followed by irregular remittent fever. If the inflammatory lesions are isolated due to adhesion, the body temperature can drop quickly; if the high fever drops once and then rises again, it indicates that the inflammation has spread or purulent lesions have occurred. The pulse rate acceleration is proportional to the body temperature. If the two are not proportional, the inflammation may be widely spread.

4. Dysmenorrhea: Acute adnexitis patients suffer from dysmenorrhea due to pelvic congestion. Most of them have abdominal pain one week before menstruation, which becomes more severe as the menstrual period approaches, until menstruation. If acute adnexitis is not treated in time, it can easily lead to chronic adnexitis, infertility, ectopic pregnancy, and affect women's health. Therefore, if you have symptoms of acute adnexitis, you should go to the hospital for examination and treatment in time.

The above is an introduction to the common symptoms of acute adnexitis. I believe everyone has some understanding of this. Once you suffer from acute adnexitis, you must go to the hospital for treatment in time to avoid delaying the disease.
