The causes of pelvic inflammatory disease are mostly related to the patient's bad hygiene habits, such as having sex during menstruation or within one month after childbirth, taking a bath within one month after gynecological surgery, etc. Medical-induced infection caused by improper disinfection of artificial abortion and induced labor can also cause pelvic effusion.

In fact, you don't have to have sex to get pelvic inflammatory disease. Unmarried girls may also have pelvic effusion. If unmarried girls do not pay attention to hygiene during menstruation, it is easy to cause vaginitis, which can also cause pelvic inflammatory disease. Pelvic inflammatory disease can cause pelvic effusion. If girls do not pay attention to hygiene during menstruation, they are also prone to pelvic effusion.

It can only be said that the probability of it happening after marriage is higher. But it can also happen to unmarried women.

The main symptoms of pelvic effusion are as follows:

1. Pelvic effusion often causes lower abdominal pain, anal distension, back pain, excessive vaginal discharge, or sudden severe pain in the lower abdomen that gradually turns into distending pain and worsens during activities, affecting normal study, life and work.

2. If pelvic effusion is not treated in time, it may cause the inflammation of the surrounding tissues of the pelvis to spread and affect other organs in the pelvic area.

3. If pelvic effusion is not treated in time, it may affect the fimbria of the fallopian tube and cause inflammatory adhesions, leading to infertility, or abortion, miscarriage, and premature ejaculation.

4. Patients with pelvic effusion sometimes have low fever, fatigue, lack of energy, general discomfort, insomnia and other symptoms. Patients with acute or chronic disease or adnexitis may have increased vaginal discharge, irregular menstruation, menstrual disorders, dysmenorrhea and disharmonious sexual life.

5. When ovarian function is damaged, menstrual disorders may occur, and fallopian tube obstruction affects female conception. When examining the uterus, it is found that the uterus is retroverted, its movement is restricted or fixed by adhesions. Cord-like thickened fallopian tubes can be felt on one or both sides of the uterus, showing mild tenderness.
