Due to the different growth sites, their clinical manifestations are also different. Most women usually have no clinical symptoms after the occurrence of uterine fibroids. If it is a fibroid under the endometrium, it will cause increased menstrual volume and prolonged menstrual period. This is because uterine fibroids increase the area of ​​the uterine cavity and the uterus contracts poorly.

Traditional Chinese Medicine for the Treatment of Uterine Fibroids

Uterine fibroids can be treated with Chinese medicine. Chinese medicine has some lumps and blood stasis that can treat uterine fibroids. According to Chinese medicine theory, fibroids may be caused by some knots caused by blood stasis, so they can be treated with Chinese medicine. If you use Western medicine, it may be faster. The Western medicine we commonly use is mifepristone tablets. Oral mifepristone is generally 10 mg per day, taken orally once a day. Its function is to resist progesterone and the uterine hormone will decrease, but it should not be used for a long time. After long-term use, it can increase the risk of endometrial lesions, so we usually take it orally for about three months.

What can and cannot be eaten for uterine fibroids

Uterine fibroids are a hormone-dependent tumor, mainly related to high estrogen levels, so most women develop them during their reproductive period, and about 20% of women suffer from uterine fibroids during their reproductive period. If you have uterine fibroids, you cannot take drugs containing estrogen or progesterone, such as birth control pills, whether long-term birth control pills, short-term birth control pills or emergency birth control pills. Do not eat royal jelly at ordinary times, because royal jelly contains estrogen, eat less soybeans and their products, because it contains natural estrogen soy isoflavones, you can eat more fresh vegetables and fruits, lean meat, eggs, and milk to supplement nutrition and increase the body's resistance. Eating some animal liver and blood products can prevent or treat iron deficiency anemia.
