To live, you have to move. The benefits of exercise to the body are not limited to maintaining a good body shape, but also have many benefits for health. But do you have to go to the gym if you want to exercise? "The Lancet" recently published the latest publication from Simon Fraser University in Canada. The research team said that whether it is climbing stairs or getting off the bus one stop earlier and walking when commuting, these increased physical activities have the potential to reduce the risk of heart disease. The authors included countries with different socioeconomic structures in the study and compared relevant data from 17 different countries, totaling 130,843 people. The analysis results showed that one in 20 heart disease patients worldwide could avoid the disease by slightly increasing their physical activity; and one in 12 cases of premature death could be avoided by increasing their physical activity. The authors say that to reduce your risk of heart disease and related death, all you need is 30 minutes of exercise a day, five days a week, or a total of 150 minutes per week, to improve your health.
