In her new book "Wu Mingzhu Teaches You How to Take Care of Your Spleen - 35 Years Old Is Like 25 Years Old", female Chinese medicine practitioner Wu Mingzhu pointed out that strengthening muscles is to exercise the spleen meridian. The spleen meridian refers to the Taiyin spleen meridian of the foot, which runs from the feet to the head, passing through the inner legs, as well as the chest and abdomen. The organs related to the spleen meridian are the spleen, stomach, and heart, so it has the functions of regulating blood, raising clearness and lowering turbidity, and transporting and transforming.

Meridian fat elimination, spleen strengthening and improvement of women's diseases

Basically, as long as a person's spleen meridian is unobstructed and there is good blood circulation, the complexion will be rosy, the muscles will be plump, the chest and buttocks will be firm, and the skin all over the body will be tight; but if there is a problem with the spleen and the spleen meridian is not unobstructed, the transportation and transformation are weak, and the limbs cannot absorb nutrients, which will lead to sallow complexion and thin muscles, and the appearance of a puffy physique is prone to occur.

Position: Sit upright on the outside of the foot 3 inches (4 horizontal fingers) below the knee, about 1 horizontal finger on the outside of the tibia, with the knee at a 90-degree right angle. Place your palm on the knee on the same side of your palm, with the base of your palm surrounding the upper edge of the knee. The four fingers other than the thumb point downward, and press the tibia below the knee with your index finger. The tip of your middle finger is Zusanli.

Effect: Press 20 times every morning and evening, coordinated with breathing, effective in fighting aging and reducing weight in the lower body.

Abdominal massage: enhancing spleen and stomach function

Massage: Rub your hands together to warm them up first, press your left hand on your abdomen with your palm facing your navel, and fold your right hand on your left hand. Massage in a clockwise direction, first lightly and then heavily, for 50 times, and then massage in a counterclockwise direction for 50 times.

Kneading and pressing: Grab the belly flesh with your fingers, and knead and press in a clockwise direction around the belly button. Use more force until it hurts, because there is a lot of fat here, so you need a little more force to press the acupoints.

Efficacy: Abdominal health care is of great help to the spleen and stomach. Many important meridians pass through here, and there are many acupoints on the abdomen.
