People who pursue "naturism" are most famous for participating in nude camping activities. For example, in the Netherlands there is "Naked Sunday", on which day members can go to the gym to exercise naked.

The British BBC once reported that a gym in Spain came up with a unique idea to boost popularity. It first asked members how much support they had for the idea of ​​a "naked gym". As many as 90% of them readily agreed, and many people were eager to try it. In the small town of Hetland in the Netherlands, there is even a so-called "naked Sunday". At first, only men were willing to participate, but gradually women also dared to try naked gyms.

However, some people hold opposing views, believing that this is unhygienic. Without clothes to absorb sweat, the sweat from the body will almost directly touch the sports equipment. Who would dare to use it next? Regarding hygiene considerations, the gym also responded, emphasizing that they would place towels on the machines, use disposable chair covers on exercise bikes, and disinfect fitness equipment every day.
