Get rid of edema and lose weight! Oriental Billy's private lymphatic exercise

"Oriental Billy", a popular artist in Singapore who has suffered from leukemia twice, has published a second book to share his anti-cancer secrets. He expresses the depression and pain caused by chemotherapy for cancer by cooking natural foods and painting, and even went to Japan to learn "stretching exercises" to help himself regain a healthy life. It is particularly mentioned that "stretching exercises" are not only helpful for postoperative edema, but people who want to lose weight can also practice them more often.

Today, at the new book launch of "Dongfang Billy Lives Out the Exclamation Mark 2", Dongfang Billy talked about his experience of having and fighting cancer. He shared that healthy eating, regular schedules and plenty of exercise are concepts that everyone knows, but the most important thing is to persist in order to maintain a healthy body.

Dongfang Billy pointed out that he felt obvious pain in his body during the first three days of doing stretching exercises, but after continuing for a week, he gradually discovered the benefits of stretching exercises. They helped him to effectively eliminate edema after surgery and improve his sleep quality. He also relaxed and improved his shoulder and neck pains and physical and mental stress. His body also regained the well-proportioned and firm muscle lines of his youth.

Rotational stretch

Dongfang Billy pointed out that stretching exercises mainly rely on stretching exercises to stretch the body, which can reduce muscle and tendon injuries and reduce muscle soreness, and can also improve physical strength and promote metabolism.

First, take a long towel or cloth strip, spread your feet wider than the width of your shoulders, stretch your arms, and pull the cloth strip tight (slowly turn your body to the left, and then directly back); keep your body still, lower your left side and raise your right side, and try your best to expand and stretch your chest (after 4 8 beats, return to the ready position), then switch sides and keep your body still, lower your right side and raise your left side, and try your best to expand and stretch your chest (after 4 8 beats, return to the ready position).

Stretch your arms straight, left and right, raise your head, take a deep breath and exhale, and tighten your abdomen; when you put your hands down, lower them vertically, continue stretching left and right, take a deep breath and exhale to return to the fixed point.

Full body stretching

By stretching the head, shoulders, waist, abdomen, knees, and back in all directions, the lymph glands in various parts of the body are strengthened and immunity is enhanced. At the same time, it can prevent back pain, stretch leg muscles, and eliminate fat around the waist.

First, spread your legs and touch the ground with your hands vertically. Relax your head, tighten your abdomen, and maintain the preparatory position. Then turn left counterclockwise, circle your whole body, count the beats in your mind, and return to the original preparatory position. Then turn right clockwise, count the beats in your mind, and return to the starting point.

Waist, abdomen, knee stretch

It mainly improves the condition of people with weak constitution and those who often suffer from low back pain; it is also very helpful for edema caused by kidney dysfunction.

First, spread your legs, wrap your hands around a cloth strip, tighten your waist, and place them between the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th lumbar vertebrae, preparing to stretch backwards; slowly bend your knees and tighten your abdomen, and use the strength of your hands to slowly lean your body back; then count the beats in your mind, pause on the 5th beat, and after a few seconds, let your body start to move forward to restore an upright position on the 6th beat, and breathe in and out.
